Photography is a skill that can be practiced as a profession, hobby, or artist medium. It gives you freedom as an artist, while being a visual storyteller. Every image has the potential to be a heartwarming keepsake, or a moving piece of art. Clever Creator Workshops are designed to encourage every type of photographer to further their education, talent and art.

Photography
Foundations
Learn camera basics, exposure, composition, and lighting through hands-on photography projects.
This course will encourage the student to explore all of the functions of their camera, enabling them to fully use it for photography. The students will also experiment with different compositions and lighting. This program is an 8 week class, each class is 90 minutes and can be on location or in studio. Camera Required.

Digital Photography
Workflow
Learn editing, file management, printing, and presentation using a professional digital workflow
This course will focus on postproduction of digital photography, including Adobe Suite introduction, Evoto introduction and basic file management. Camera, and computer access to editing software, external hard drive and cloud storage access required. Set up included in introduction.

35mm Film Photography
Shoot, develop, print, and present 35mm photographs while learning traditional darkroom techniques.
This course will include processing of film in the studio, variety of methods of printing from negatives, and negative management.
35 MM Film camera required. Other formats must be discussed prior to registration.

The Process
1.Click the Link & Sign Up
Click the link and select your class day and time. Provide your contact info. If you are using Step Up/EMA please continue to your account and search for Curiously Clever Photography as a direct pay provider and choose the appropriate class. If you are not using a scholarship, we will be in touch with an invoice and payment method options.
2.Call or Meet up
The first class is Introduction for all classes. It establishes a relationship with the students, and allows for verification of equipment like camera, computer access, etc. We establish the student's current level and interests and develop goals.
3.Class time
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with private mentorship offered on other days and times. The program runs for 8 weeks, with one 90-minute class each week. Parents are welcome to stay in the studio or wait in the parking lot, but we are not a drop-off facility without prior arrangement.
4.The Gallery Show
Every few months, all students are invited to showcase their work in one of our in-house art shows at our gallery space, The Curio. They’ll get to experience the process of participating in an art show and learn how to consign their pieces if they decide to sell them.
